The MAHALIA is a large diaphragm steel tube condenser microphone. The Mahalia has a dual backplate capsule that has been designed to give a full range frequency response without being too accentuated in the top end.
 
The Mahalia's sound can be described as silky and refined. The Mahalia features a K6 capsule that is hand drilled, single lapped with beveled blind holes, General Electric EF95 tube, Cinemag 2510 transformer and 9 polar patterns.

The Mahalia comes with a hand built power supply, Gotham GA7C microphone cable, 51 mm suspension mount and carry case.
